Trefoil surgery with guide for the central implant

This is a video about the workflow of a immediate rehabilitation technic that uses only 3 large implants and a prefabricated adaptive titanium bar over them. This technic allow us to do the surgery and final prosthesis in the same day with a very high degree of acceptance by the patient. In this case we have done a surgical guide for the 1º implant to turn the surgery more predictable and reducing the surgical time.

With a Fixed Template can you not use the template as a reinforced framework for provisional? Great alternative on display here. Thanks for sharing Dr. Salama

Thank you very much for your comment and attention Dr Salama.
I don't know if I have understood well your question but in this type of surgery the idea is precisely not to use a provisional. Instead, you do the final prosthesis directly. You can say that this is a type of guided surgery because after the 1º implant we use the prefabricated bar surgical templates to do the 2 distal implants. All the surgical gear comes in the surgical kit.
In this case however we have done a starting surgical guide for the central implante (the only one you have to chose the position manually) because this way you can divide mathematically the space between the dental nerve exits as the central implant defines the place of the 2 distal implants and you don't want to get the nerve with one of them. The guide we have done its only for the 2mm drill, just to mark the place. But for the prefabricated bar to just, its fundamental that you use the Trefoil kit templates to do the distal implants positioning and insertion.
(We don't cut off any soft tissue and, this way, in our experience we don't have a big tissue recession and after 6 months the gum looks perfect and the final prosthesis its reasonable adjusted.)
