Treatment of Excessive Gingival Display with Botulinum Toxin. The solution was mixed with saline and lidocaine 2%. It was applied Topical Xylocaine 5 minutes before injection. Results demonstrated in the video represents 4 weeks after therapy.

Maurice, the results with Botulinum toxin have an effect of about 6-8 months. The advantage is that the clinician can titrate every 2 days until the best results is achieved. It also does not involve oral surgery. The disadvantage is the necessity of re-treatment every 6-8 months.

I to do this in my office too but I don't put nearly as much product in the area as what you show in this video. Perhaps dilution is different. I also do not get 6-8 months of
response.
Personally, I don't have a problem with reinjecting every 4-6 months.
This is a great service and very easy!
