In Anterior/Esthetic
28 years-old patient of with historic of auto accident and vertical root fracture element 9.
It was performed an immediate zirconia implant placement. (White Implants - Holland Inc.) Then, a fiberglass prosthetic component (White Implants - Holland Inc.) was cemented with dual composite cement and then prepared. The platform of the implant was also prepared together. Finally, a temporary crown was cemented with temporary cement in the same day of the surgery.

Great video. I would assume you MUST leave this implant supragingival for cement. Do you have different abutments available for cementation? Angled options etc. etc. Is there a cover cap if you do not wish to provisionalize? Thanks Maurice

Yes Maurice. The system suggests that the platform be located supragingivally. However, it is not a problem if the implant remains 1-2 mm subgingivally. The abutments are solid reinforced fiber glass. The system comes with caps, straight and angled abutments. Our study here in Brazil demonstrated fracture over insertion of 190N/CM (in press). Hence, it can be placed for immediate function without a concern of fracture of the implant during placement. It is not recommended for posterior sites, only anterior maxillary sites.
