Submerged Root in Pontic site

Geriatric patient, restorative phase is in progress, retained the root stump of #8 post R.C.T just to avoid collapse and to maintain the width in pontic site. Extracted Grosly decayed Tooth # 9. Vertical and horizontal changes can be appreciated clearly after 6 months. Root Submergence = Simple technique = Highly Predictable result.

Thanks Maurice, you taught me this technique. Dont have the surgical pics to share. Its almost a full mouth case, old lady. Iam temporizing many of her worked teeth for few more months with PMMA crowns and bridges before ceramic work. Regards. Ashok
