Patient presents with recession at #8. Crown was redone 3years ago to mask recession and black triangle.
I think she would benefit from platform switching, modification of the prosthetic contours and tissue augmentation. Would appreciate Dental XP's observations.
Implants have been in place at least 7 years.

If you can remove crown on Implant #8 and place a cover screw it will allow for additional tissue to migrate in from the sulcus and then CTG from palate with Tunnel-VISTAL approach with COMPLETE coverage. In provisional stage during healing you can use cantilever from adjacent implant site if it can be accessed or an Essix appliance with denture tooth. Keep original crown and abutment and see how it works after healing of tissue graft....BEST case scenario is NEW crown and abutment. This implant does not lend itself to "platfrom switching".
