Hello guys.I wore braces for 1.2 years and my doctor told me to wear a retainer overnight. She had also placed me a brace behind my teeth. I wear my retainers for almost 4 years. The thing is, should I go back to get them tightened? I feel like they don't work but it may be my perception. Is there any way to understand if the retainers still work?

Everything you need to know about retainers. Take a look at this advises from Sacks Orthodontics He is been my Dr for 8 years. Retainers sometimes could be a pain in the neck but the thing is they are very important to conclude the treatment properly.
