In Sinus Augmentation
35 year old female with chief comolaint if bad breath , mobility and pumping of tooth no.16( maxilllary right first molar) and pus inthe area. after extraction there was a huge pus discharge. after flap and enucleation of cyst in the sinus , buccal fat pad was used to cover the area with primary closure. in the second cbct after 6 months for evaluation of the site for second surgery, bone formation in a bit different manner was seen.
any thoughts on this would be appreciated.
Regards
Omid

Did you graft at the time? Looks atypical. Would monitor it. Thanks Dr. Salama

No graft at all. It seems to be reactive bone formation! Maybe due to Buccal fat pad !
Thanks Mo
