Patient with missing #8 and vertical bone and soft tissue deficiency following removal of an implant with advanced peri-implantitis and bone loss. #7 with IHB class 3 on mesial and #9 with short root and IHB class 2. Would you consider ortho eruption #7 and 9 to bring down attachments coronallly (ideal but predictable?) Or Ext #7 & 9 with 3-D bone graft for implant site development? Or restorative option with bridge 6-11 and pontic site development?

This is a tough case. Since you have nothing to lose but time...I would attempt ortho extrusion of adjacent teeth prior to extraction and implant placement with bone augmentation. 3D bone augmentation without ortho extrusion typically lends itself to an artificial gingiva final prosthesis. regards Mo
