New Here, I don't want braces. Is there a better option?

Hi everyone,
I live in the San Diego area and I am looking to try out some of those clear plastic braces (not sure what they are called) instead of going the traditional route of metal braces. Does anyone have any additional resources about this or know the cost, maintenance of going this route instead of the regular metal braces?
Matt

I am not an orthodontist or anything but I have had metal braces and they do not hurt at all, what hurts me personally is the retainer but I am trying to get that fixed since most people say that it shouldn’t hurt. Therefore go for the metal braces.

Hi Matt, Making the choice between traditional braces and Invisalign (the clear retainer type you mention) can be a challenge. There's an article here that outlines some pros and cons of both, and may help you in your decision! https://www.hawleyorthodontics.com/do-i-need-braces-or-invisalign/ Good luck!

The orthodontic treatment has different kinds of braces. According to your comfort zone. You can discuss with your orthodontist about the better option. But to my view invisalign is a betetr choice. More comfortable and convenient. Check this out : https://www.orisdentalcenter.ae/blog/all-about-braces/

Incognito braces previously known as “iBraces” are a new generation of orthodontic braces for teens and adults. https://bit.ly/34WdjsV They are fabricated using CAD/CAM technology (computer-aided design/computer-aided manufacturing) and robotic wire bending. They are the only 100% customized bracket available on the market today that are designed to work behind the teeth. Because no two people are alike, no two sets of Incognito brackets are alike.
