In this case, the rehabilitation of an edentulous gap in element 1.6 is needed. The site has a good amount of horizontal bone, but is missing in its vertical component, so the maxillary sinus area needs to be regenerated.
In the specific case it is decided to proceed with a crestal approach, which can provide a successful regenerative outcome. The implant tunnel is made possible thanks to a combination of the crestal sinus lift technique and the Magnetic Dynamic technology, as it preserves the bone and improves its quality. As you can see from the pre and post-surgical comparison, a prosthetically guided implant of adequate size is placed, improving bone quality and obtaining a homogeneous lift that fills the maxillary sinus well and supports the rehabilitation.
