This case is video of the Kerrison "back biting" forcep - Shown here for a pathology case that involved nonrestorable tooth #14 with perforation into sinus- decision was made to extract tooth and clean out sinus in preparation for implant down the road- I routinely use this instrument in my sinus augmentations to open the window- We lectured in Houston with Dental XP and demonstrated technique with Kerrison that Salvin Dental had on site.

Dr Mariano Estrada posted case recently where I think the forcep would be useful
