Full Mouth V-MIS with Furcation Invasions

Full mouth treated with videoscope-assisted minimally invasive surgery. FMX was not that remarkable with respect to vertical bony defects and the case probed 5-6mm in these sites. Surgical views show advanced bone destruction and furcation invasions. Defects debrided until visually clean, roots conditioned with EDTA x 3 minutes, emdogain and FDBA packed into all sites, flaps coronally positioned over buccal furcations and sutured. This will be interesting to follow, not much literature available on this technique with respect to furcation treatment. Thanks, jb.

Great visualization. How long does it take you to do this with the V-MIS technique? Do you use hand and ultrasonic instrumentation? thanks Dr. Salama
