Soft Tissue-Bone-Soft Tissue- One Miracle at a Time

Posted on By Hamid Kazemi In Bone Grafting

First soft tissue; then bone; then soft tissue again: Endodontic-related complication with buccal perforation resulting in infection and loss of buccal bone and soft tissue along with existing defect on adjacent central incisor. An initial PET (submerged root) strategy to allow spontaneous generation of gingival tissue on #8 followed by delayed bone grafting (GBR). Implant placement #8 and 9 with digital workflow and guided surgery along with CTG to augment soft tissue. Provisional restoration for 3 months followed by final. The critical staging principles (one miracle at a time) with patience is the key in previously operated sites with complications.
