Referral for Oral Trauma cause from " Draft Horse " 6# little dog sustained a alveolar and symphyseal Fx separation result rostral instability... Compounding the problem the dog had Grade 4 periodontal disease w very little mandibular bone. ( bilateral)

Treatment: Multiple extractions Molars / Pre Molars. Mandibular Canine extractions. Reduction of hemi mandibles, transcortical screw fixation, and packed w dentine autologous particles. Self tapping 2.4mm X 22mm screw
20mm was the measured size however could not obtain adequate compression.

Closed w 5/0 synthetic absorbable...
