Case of a socket shield for a maxillary premolar. Challenge is to prepare the buccal root and place the implant in the inter radicular bone to achieve a good emergence for the final restoration.

Great result...would you consider placement in palatal socket and SRT of buccal root fragment as an option here? Thanks for sharing. Dr. Salama

Haven't thought of that. Have you tried it? Only concern being the trajectory of the implant emerging from the palatal root leading to an undesirable emergence. I suppose it will need to be placed much deeper.

Very true. We will have to divide our implantology careers in Pre PET and Post PET.
