mIVAN technique for socket type 2

For many years I treat socket type 2 and 3 in an aesthetic zone utilizing simultaneous hard and soft tissue augmentation. If there is an acute inflammatory process I prefer staged procedure. "Prosthetic socket preservation" with a pontic supporting the buccal soft tissue helps to reduce a horizontal ridge atrophy and supports papillae.

Great Case Snjezana. For Type 3 involves the VERTICAL dimension and I would only STAGE the case. Your work here seems to be TYPE 2 and beautifully managed. regards Maurice

Thank you for your comment, Maurice.
Yes, it is a socket type 2 and for socket type 3 I almost always apply a staged procedure.
Actually, I`ve already done "all in one" if the aesthetic wasn`t of tremendous importance and have really nice results, but I still keep doing "one miracle at time".
Best regards

Snjezana, fantastic case management, as usual on your work. I really like the step management with incredible results on your tissue response. It would have been nice if the patient would have accepted Ortho, but I also some nice cases that the patient doesn't want to go through Ortho.
Thanks for sharing, very nice case!
best regards my great friend!
