Female patient comes to the dental office seeking for implants to replace tooth 3(1.6) and 4 (1.5) in root state, endodontically treated.

Plan to perform; osteotomy with Densah Burs

A)Socket Shield Technique (SST) and implant 3.75 x 13 mm. in tooth 4 (1.5).

B)Root Sumergence (RST) and implant 3.75 x 13 mm. in tooth 3 (1.6). The implant is installed in native interradicular bone.

Due to the absence of apical lesions it is filled with xenograft and temporaries are made. Control conebeam is taken.

Raul, good to meet you here!
Perfect planning, execution, documentation. If you don´t want to loose the bone, it¨s a way to go. Implants placed in native bone in optimal position, PET, provisionals.
Only one question. There is RST on molar roots, and the mesial root seems to have an apical area, doesn`t it? Have you considered apicoectomy?

Dear Snjezana, In tooth 3 (1.6) we leave the three roots that in another tomographic section are intact so we do not consider the apiceptomy . Best Regards
