This 22 years old patient presented with recession on lower incisors, no attached gingiva, muscle pull and shallow vestibule.
The FGG allowed for release of muscle pull and deepening of the vestibule, also root coverage occured on lower left central and the right central is still undergoing creeping attachment at 4 months

FGG in place
4 months follow up

Nicely done Dr. Fouda. Was the FGG placed on a bone bed or a C T bed and does it have long term consequences?

The graft was placed on CT bed, I did release the muscle pull with scalpel and obtained an immovable bed for graft
Actually FGG grafts gets better with time.

Great result, compliments!I 'd like to ask you if you have some experience with the use of heterologous graft material (as Mucograft, Derma or Mucoderm for instance) as alternative of free gingival graft in covering tooth recessions?Thank you

Thank you

I used alloderm for root coverage with success. . However you have to place it same way as you place SECTG I.e. under the flap and you have to completely cover it
In this case I don't believe that ADM will be useful as we need to deepen the vestibule and create a wide zone of attached keratinized gingiva
