Hi, everyone, sharing one of my conservative case. Most of the endo treated tooth whether anterior or posterior does not require an indirect crown. The present case is a non vital attrited tooth needs endo, but please look at the bulk of tooth structure remaining. Such kind of cases definitely does not require an indirect crown.

In this forum, as Dr.Gerald Benjamin advocates, bulk filling with trans enamel illumination with the help of 2 powerfull light will eliminate the necessity of an indirect crown. Even preserving few percentage of extra natural tooth structure ( thats what usually removed during crown preps in the name of achieving finish lines, etc, etc) will enhance the prognosis of that particular tooth.
