If you can list the problems in these two patients (Case A & Case B), you will be able to eliminate the 5 contributing factors noted in over 80% of cases with dental implant complications.

Case A: Patient with chronic pain around her upper molar dental implant.

Case B: Patient with history of loosening crown (multiple times), plaque retention and inability to clean, and mouth odor (which he did not have until implant was restored).

Case A had bone loss around the implant (saucerization) Case B seems loss of labial plate.. Implants were too labially positioned ...In Case B I presume there were cement residues.
