In Sinus Augmentation
20 years post rt maxillary oroantral fistula corrected by palatal flap a 60 years old patient seeking for a solution.
addressing the continuity defect and sinus lift at the same time.
no post op complications

I think it is the separation of 3 layers attached:
palate+periost-sinus membrane+bucal flap with only 2-3 mm tear of sinus memvrane+PRF.
no temporary at all
and a little help from the almighty...
do planning on implants
should I remove the mesh or drill through?

I think the mesh should be taken out, because it is easly accessable, the bone most probably is hard enough to preserve it's continuity and bulk (Mostly if it had been a combination between allograft and a xenograft), and third to prevent future complications in the area like perimplantitis induced infection spread to the whole mesh
